Family Owned Roofing Contractor
in Wayne County

Never. Our own trained crew does every job, so you are not meeting a stranger on install day. You deal with Kincaide Roofing from the estimate to the final cleanup, and that is who you call afterward if a question comes up.

Most residential roof replacements in Wayne County take one day, start to finish. That day covers the tear off down to the decking, the wood boards under the shingles, plus an inspection of those boards, ice and water shield, new shingles and cleanup. We schedule no more than one full replacement per day, so the crew is never rushing off to a second job.

It means we can offer the Owens Corning TotalProtection warranty, which covers both the materials and the installation labor. A warranty that covers only materials leaves you paying for the labor if an installation problem shows up later. Kincaide Roofing is an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, so your new roof can carry coverage on both under one plan.

We install Owens Corning shingles, including the Duration and Duration Storm lines. Duration Storm is the line built for stronger wind and impact resistance, which matters through a Michigan storm season. Because Kincaide Roofing is an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, we can back the installation with TotalProtection coverage on both materials and labor.

We always tear off the old roof. Installing a second layer over an existing roof hides the condition of the decking, and it traps moisture between the layers. Any leak that develops finds the old nailheads and causes damage you will not see until it is severe. Our crew inspects the decking before the new roof goes on and fixes any soft spots the same day.

Kincaide Roofing is an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, licensed in Michigan, with more than 20 years of roofing in Wayne County. We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance on every job. Certificates of insurance are yours before any work starts, so you know exactly who is covered on your property.
